Constitution for the Somali Democratic Republic (1979)

This is the 1979 Constitution for the Somali Democratic Republic, under which elections for a People''s Assembly were held. This replaced the 1960 constitution which was suspended following the 1969 coup d''état. The 1979 constitution was superseded in 1991.
