Framework and Approach to Constitution Drafting Body Rules of Procedure

This non-paper was drafted by UNAMI/OCS in preparation of the meeting with the international community on the ‘Framework and Approach to Constitution Drafting Body Rules of Procedure’ of May 12, 2005. The document compiles relevant provisions from the TNA Rules of Procedure’s regarding the constitution-making process, and the rights to participation in constitution-making process as embodied in international instruments. The document also lists options for the promotion of an inclusive and participatory process, and presents different modalities to structure the drafting body.
