Summary:
This Statute implements the Agreement signed in Moscow in 23 December 1996 and establishes the Commission of National Reconciliation. It provides for its composition, main functions and powers and time frame for establishment of the commission. It also establishes a special close protection unit which will provide security for the members of the commission. The Commission is to cooperate closely with the UN and the OSCE.
