The statement recognizes the need for a long-term framework to address the causes of the post-election national crisis. It identifies six areas: 1) Constitutional, institutional and legal reform; 2) Land reform; 3) Poverty, inequality and regional imbalances; 4) Unemployment among the youth; 5) National consolidation and unity; 6) Transparency, accountability and impunity. The agreement also arranges the implementation of the reform agenda by the coalition government and adopts the implementation framework on long-term issues as a working roadmap for the resolution of the six issues mentioned above.
