Summary:
This Agreement established the practical modalities for the implementation of the Judgment of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) of 3 February 1994. Among other things, the agreement provided for the withdrawal of the Libyan administration and forces from the Aouzou Strip the removal of mines; the establishment of border crossing points a study of the question of monitoring the frontier maintenance of goodneighbourliness and demarcation of the boundary by a Joint Commission.
