From the 'TPLF Constitution' to the 'Constitution of the People of Ethiopia': Constitutionalism and Proposals for Constitutional Reform

This article chronicles Ethiopia's constitutional history. The article focuses on substantive issues of: decentralization; ethnic groups; human rights; government transparency and accountability; and secularism. The article also focuses on Ethiopia's lack of an independent and reliable constitutional adjudication system. The author provides proposals for a possible constitutional reform agenda.
