Freedom of Association

This option report compares constitutional provisions related to the freedom of association. The sample of constitutions reviewed consists of almost 600 constitutions enacted since 1789. In addition to detailing the trends with respect to the freedom of association, the report sets out sample constitutional provisions divided into the following three categories: 1. Absolute freedom of association, 2. Qualified freedom of association, and 3. Freedom of association shall be provided by law.&nbsp
