Declaration on Measures for a Political Settlement of the Georgian - Abkhaz Conflict

In this declaration the parties commit to observe a ceasefire and request for the early deployment of a peacekeeping operation. They also recognize that Abkhazia shall have its own Constitution and State symbols. The parties also agree to share power in the area of foreign policy, boarder arrangements, customs, energy, transport and communications, ecology and protecting human, civic and minority rights until a comprehensive final agreement is reached.
