Constitution of Kenya Review Commission (CKRC) - A Summary of the Proposals

This is a summary of the main points and proposals of the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission (CKRC) with regard to the draft revised constitution (as of September 2002), during the period of constitutional review/reform that took place between 2000-2005. The issues are primarily grouped around the following two questions: 1) What are the principles and values of the draft constitution? and 2) How would the constitution work? The responses to the underlying questions are also referenced to specific provisions of the draft constitution.
