Summary:
The Bicesse Accord is a comprehensive agreement that includes four documents: a ceasefire agreement; fundamental principles for the establishment of peace in Angola; concepts for resolving the issues still pending between the Government and UNITA; and the Protocol of Estoril which includes elections, military monitoring, internal security, political rights of UNITA, administrative structures and formation of the Angolan Armed Forces.
