Right to Conduct Business

This option report compares constitutional provisions related to the right to establish and/or conduct a business. The sample of constitutions reviewed consists of almost 600 constitutions enacted since 1789. In addition to detailing the trends with respect to such a right, the report provides sample constitutional provisions regarding the right to conduct/establish a business and free entreprise. The statistics in this report do not include constitutions that deal with freedom of commerce and industry.
