Freedom of the Press

This option report compares constitutional provisions related to the freedom of the press. The sample of constitutions reviewed consists of almost 600 constitutions enacted since 1789. In addition to detailing the trends with respect to the freedom of the press, the report sets out sample constitutional provisions including clauses that limit the freedom of expression exercised in accordance with the law.
