The Yemen Transition Agreement

This is the agreement brokered by the Gulf Cooperation Council to facilitate the political transition in Yemen in 2011. The agreement provides the legal framework for the transition phase, which includes providing for: a transitional government, a national dialogue to discus a constitution-making process, constitution-making bodies and elections under the new constitution. The agreement also stipulates a role for international advisers.
