Report of the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission (CKRC)

This report is a condensed version of the CKRC''s 2003 reports on the constitutional review process and public consultation from 2001-2002. The first attachment (the main report) discusses a number of substantive matters, including: the Kenyan constitution''s background and development the constitutional reform process to-date public inputs on various substantive issues participatory governance devolution and constitutionality. The report also includes a summary of key recommendations from the CKRC at this stage. A Swahili version of this report is also attached.
The second English attachment is the excerpted summary of the CKRC''s recommendations which the CKRC reformulated and incorporated into the design of the draft constitution.
The third English attachment is the annotated draft Bill (constitution).
