This is a mapping of constitutional provisions related to gender equality in Latin America and the Caribbean. The relevant provisions fall into the following categories: equality non-discrimination rights of women public authorities, institutions and services political participation and freedom of association citizenship/nationality, right to property/inheritance reproductive rights education employment equal before the law marriage &ampamp family life status of religious/customary law status of international law (including human rights law) limitations and/or derogations general human rights guarantees and human rights duties.
