Somalia: The Way Forward?

This paper discusses the potential future arrangements for the government of Somalia as the deadline (August 2011) for the end of the transitional period approached. This date was already an extension of the original deadline, which was two and a half years after the adoption of the Transitional Federal Charter (2004). The purpose of this paper was to set out our proposals on the way forward.
