UNDP Project Document - Empowering Somali Women for Participation in the Constitutional Process

This is a UNDP Project Document for a project called "Empowering Somali Women for Participation in the Constitutional Process" (2012-2014). &nbspThe project aims to: 1) Enhance women’s participation in the constitutional process with a view of achieving women friendly constitution and 2) Ensure 30% women representation in in the structures that are steering and shaping post-transition governance including the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) which will approve the Constitution, the Interne Independent Electoral Commission (IIEC) which will manage the selection of the NCA and the new parliament.
