This agreement provide operational guidelines for the implementation of the General Cessation of Hostilities. It provides a definition of terms, actions exempted from the cessation of hostilities, the ground rules for operations and mechanisms for coordination between the parties.  

This agreement calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities and the reinstatement of the legitimate government of President Tejan Kabbah within a period of six months. It provides for power-sharing arrangements, DDR and amnesty for for events of 25 May 1997.  

This truce calls a cessation of hostilities and for the establishment of a neutral regional group to monitor the terms of this agreement.

This agreement represents the final phase of negotiations on Western Sahara to implement the Secretary-General's Settlement Proposal Plan (S/21360).

These administrative guidelines establish the terms of reference and composition of the implementation mechanisms for the GRP-MILF Agreement on the General Cessation of Hostilities (AGCH) signed on 18 July 1997.
