This agreement seeks to implement Agreements reached in Yamoussoukro in September 1991 by West African Regional leaders to establish peace in Liberia. The agreement provides provisions on a ceasefire, encampment and disarmament, elections, implementation arrangements and the role of ECOWAS in the mediation and ECOMOG in support to the Liberian peace process.
