Letter of Agreement between UNAMA and The Asia Foundation

This is a draft Letter of Agreement between the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and the Asia Foundation (TAF). UNAMA was responsible for coordinating international technical and financial support for the Secretariat of the Constitutional Loya Jirga in Afghanistan. The letter sets out the terms and conditions upon which TAF will provide operational, substantive, and financial support to the Secretariat. The letter addresses the following: the purpose of the letter of agreement, the source of funding, the duration of the agreement, and the amendment procedure. Attached to the Letter of Agreement is an executed confidential service agreement between Global Risk Strategies (Hong Kong) Ltd. and TAF for the planning, event management, transport coordination, and logistics management for the Constitutional Loya Jirga.
