Women Members of the Constituent Assembly - A study on contribution of women in constitution making in Nepal

This book looks at the role of women in the most recent constitution-making process in Nepal. With 33 percent of the constituent assembly female, this books seeks to highlight their contributions, successes, and continuing obstacles.

Part one looks at the historical achievements of the women's movement in Nepal.
Part two discusses the nature of the study undertaken to write this book (the methodology, limitations, ethical concerns).
Part three sets out the backgrounds of the women members of the constituent assembly.
Part 4 looks at the role of these women as members of the constituent assembly.
Part 5 looks at the challenges these women face as political actors, and
Part 6 looks at the achievements of these women to date, and their future plans as members of the constituent assembly.

The comprehensive biographies of these women are appended at the end of this book.
