Agreement on a Comprehensive Political Settlement of the Cambodia Conflict (The Paris Agreement)
This is the peace agreement resulting from the October 1991 Paris Conference. The agreement is a comprehensive settlement giving the UN full authority to supervise a ceasefire, repatriate the displaced Khmer along the border with Thailand, disarm and demobilize the factional armies, and to prepare the country for free and fair elections. Annex 5 of the agreement incorporates principles for the new constitution of Cambodia.
